Google Apps Hits Three Million Business Milestone

Business solution snowballing in popularity

Today (if not before), it’s arguably official: Google Apps is no longer an experimental program for businesses more interested in saving money than using good software.  Google announced this morning that Google Apps is in fact used by more than three million businesses.

GoogleThat’s a pretty large number – plenty big enough to signify that Google Apps users aren’t guinea pigs, for starters, and that most or all of the kinks should have been worked out.

At the same time, three million isn’t close to the number of small businesses that could be using Google Apps, so it’s not like everyone’s gone into a mindless follow-the-leader routine.

Then a related key point is that it might still possible for some businesses to get an edge over competitors by switching to Google Apps.

Of course, every small business owner will have to do what’s best for his or her own unique firm, though, since very few things in life really qualify as "one size fits all" solutions.

Just consider this an opportunity to reconsider your opinion on the subject and maybe give Google Apps a trial run.
