PR Newswire Releases Toolkit For Entrepreneurs

New service meant to act as marketing resource

PR Newswire is, at least in certain circles, a well-known name; the organization helps a lot of very important companies distribute press releases.  And now, it intends to help smaller outfits make an impression, as well, with the introduction of PR Toolkit for Entrepreneurs.

Fair warning: this service isn’t free.  PR Newswire isn’t too eager to share how much it’ll cost the average business, either, instead asking interested parties to submit information on a case-by-case basis.

That makes it hard for us to either recommend or reject the service.  Entrepreneurs will just have to consider their own situation or perhaps wait for other individuals to act as guinea pigs.

Here’s what the service is all about, though.  An official statement announced, "The toolkit targets internet entrepreneurs and small businesses that currently lack the resources to raise their online visibility and generate buzz for their products, services or Web site.  The toolkit also includes educational resources such as tips to promote your business to the media, advice on how to write effective online news releases, promotion and marketing pointers and how to launch an economical public relations plan."

Then Michael Crumley, Manager of Strategic Channels at PR Newswire, added, "PR Newswire’s online syndication network of more than 5,700 Web sites enables entrepreneurs to be seen on the Internet’s largest sites such as Yahoo!, MSN and AOL and become searchable by news engines including Yahoo! News and Google News.  This robust Web reach combined with our industry leading news distribution enhances visibility and drives online sales."

Good luck getting the right kind of attention if you decide to give PR Toolkit for Entrepreneurs a try.
