Scott Brown Joins Senate Small Business Committee

Politician wants to "spur economic growth and put people back to work"

Small business owners who follow U.S. politics now have a new person to either cheer for or rail at, depending on their point of view. Today, Senator Scott Brown joined the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship.

Brown represents Massachusetts, if you’re curious, and also serves on the Senate Armed Services Committee, the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, and the Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committee.

As for his new role, Brown said in a statement, "Small businesses are the engines that drive our economy, and I look forward to fighting for policies that will help them grow. During these challenging times, it is more important than ever that we implement commonsense initiatives to give entrepreneurs the confidence to expand and hire more workers."

Then Brown hinted that he’ll be able to get past political divides by adding, "I am excited to work with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to spur economic growth and put people back to work."

Let’s hope this change turns out well.

Here’s a link to Brown’s website if you’d like to (attempt to) get in touch and let him know your thoughts on any issues, by the way.

I sent Scott Brown an email through his website back in December about the new 1099 reporting requirements. Took a week or two to get a reply, but it was an actual reply not just an auto reply (like John Kerry) it was obvious Sen. Brown (or someone on his staff) actually read my email and responded appropriately.

I am happy to find your distinguished way of writing the post. Now you make it easy for me to understand and implement the concept. Thank you for the post.health insurance company
