Sprint Talks Up Special Small Biz Incentives

Company tries to cater to small firms

Small business owners who aren’t currently locked into 89-year contracts may want to talk to Sprint concerning their next cell phone(s).  Sprint has decided to "extend the Small Business Week celebration" by highlighting a number of special deals.

Take into account what sort of reception Sprint customers tend to get in your area, what sort of phones are available through Sprint, and whether or not you can get better prices elsewhere, of course – we’re not claiming Sprint should be the Official Wireless Communications Company of Small Businesses Everywhere or anything like that.

Still, Sprint is offering instant discounts on some devices in order to let small businesses pay the same amount as large corporations.  It’s offering volume discounts, too (starting at five or more "corporate-liable lines"), which could be useful if you’re buying phones for a whole office.

What’s more, according to a statement, "Small business customers may also call a sales rep for personalized help at (866) 805-9890, or make an appointment at their nearest Sprint retail store by going to www.sprintstorelocator.com."  Plus there’s a 30-day, no-questions-asked satisfaction guarantee when adding a new line.

Considering what a drain mobile phones can be on a company’s finances – even $40 per month per person will add up – this is at least an opportunity to get different companies competing with one another.

  1. What is most important at this point is new jobs and that is why the president is focused on giving a tax credit for new hiring.
