The American Small Business League (ASBL) is making waves in the sea of small business contracts once again.Known for its persistent criticism of the Small Business Administration (SBA), the ASBL is calling out the House Committee on Small Business this time, and in particular Committee chairperson Nydia M. Velzquez.

American Small Business League Takes SBA to Court

The American Small Business League (ASBL) issued a statement today saying that they will see Small Business Administration (SBA) Administrator Stephen Preston in court.This stems from Preston's refusal to disclose names of Fortune 500 firms that received a major portion of more than $270 billion in federal small business contracts during 2005 and 2006.Preston has allegedly refused several parties (including members of Congress) access to the list of names.
