88 Percent Of Retailers Plan Cyber Monday Promotions

Cyber Monday is a bit of a silly concept, given that people can shop online anytime and the day after Thanksgiving is what we've come to recognize as the main window for sales.  Just the same, new figures from the National Retail Federation indicate that almost nine-tenths of retailers intend to participate, so small businesses with an online presence might want to join in.

Small businesses that don't have something planned for Cyber Monday may want to reconsider.  It looks like the vast majority of retailers intend to hold a promotion of one sort or another, which could make acknowledging the shopping event a semi-necessity.

Has Online Shopping Already Peaked for the Year?

I would have thought that online shopping would peak on Cyber Monday or Black Friday, but it was actually a Sunday - November 30th, that the most people got online and shopped, at least in the UK.
