Easter Forecast Points To Increased Spending

It looks like small businesses are going to benefit from two "up" holidays in a row. Less than a week after the National Retail Federation predicted that people will spend more on St. Patrick's day this year than last, the organization issued another forecast suggesting that Easter will also be more profitable.

Aside from the religious implications, Easter's a sort of optional holiday for many people. It's possible to hold feasts and buy all sorts of stuff, or just toss the kids a chocolate rabbit. And unfortunately, at least a few more people than usual will be leaning towards the laidback approach this year.
