Tips to Help Overworked Entrepreneurs Achieve Better Balance

All too often entrepreneurs start businesses with dreams of more freedom and work/life balance. Then they find they’ve somehow given up their lives to grow their businesses. This is a recipe for illness, frustration and burn out. While I offer tips, tactics and ideas for helping entrepreneurs find better work / life balance all the time; I always like to hear what others have to say on the subject. So recently I solicited tips from experts. And wow! I got more than 100!! Many of them terrific and different from what I’ve shared before.
Startup America Announces Roundtables With Entrepreneurs

As part of the White House's Startup America program, senior administration officials will visit eight cities to meet with entrepreneurs and hear from them on ideas and suggestions for removing barriers and regulations to build a better environment for entrepreneurship.

U.S. Ranks Third In Entrepreneurship

A report released by the Office of Advocacy of the U.S. Small Business Administration, found the United States ranks third overall for entrepreneurship, first in entrepreneurial aspirations, sixth in entrepreneurial attitudes, and eighth in entrepreneurial activity.The findings are based on the Global Entrepreneurship and Development Index (GEDI), a research tool that captures the contextual features of entrepreneurship in 71 countries.

The resource is called the Start Up Donut, and it counts none other than Google among its sponsors. The site went live today and his been developed in response to a surge in the number of business start-ups in the UK brought on by large numbers of redundancies and changes in the business climate.
