Businesses Plan to Grow Despite Recession

Intuit, the makers of Quickbooks, Quicken, and TurboTax, are doing their part to keep small business owner morale high. Over the last couple months they have discussed study results indicating strong growth for small businesses over the coming decade as well as an optimistic outlook for small business artisans.

Financial software provider Intuit, makers of QuickBooks, Quicken, and TurboTax, are saying that the future looks strong for small businesses in the U.S. after meeting with members of congress and industry experts.Intuit has been conducting a study for over a year, which found that "barriers to starting a small business will shatter and their success rates will improve over the next decade".
Study: Artisans' Future so Bright, They Gotta Wear Shades

A study from Intuit, authored by the Institute for the Future, is saying that artisans will be the brightest stars in the future of small business. Basically they're saying that these "next generation" artisans will be able to utilize technology in the next ten years as it continues to advance to "amplify their reach and capabilities."
