It's Election Day in the United States of America, and small businesses around the country are no doubt eager to find out the winner of the election, as it will have a direct impact on their businesses in the future. Both of the candidates with the best shot of winning have made small businesses central to their campaigns, not surprisingly since the economy has been in such a downturn. It seems Barack Obama and John McCain have gone back and forth on small business taxes over and over and over and over again.

Lloyd Chapman, President of the American Small Business League (ASBL) issued a statement saying that small businesses in America could be saved from bankruptcy if one mainstream journalist would ask the presidential candidates one question: "If you were elected President, would you allow Fortune 500 firms to continue to receive billions of dollars in federal small business contracts?"
