There are a number of ways you can market your small business without spending a large sum of money.Print a small ad on a postcard and mail it to potential customers in your targeted market area. People are more likely to read a message on a postcard if it is brief. This can also lead people to your Web site and create sales leads.Send a handwritten note to a customer who purchased a product or service from your business and thank them for doing so. Include a discount for the next time they may need to use your business along with an expiration date to create urgency.
