Microsoft Creates Short Podcasts For Small Businesses

Time is precious, and some people try get more of it by becoming sleep-deprived zombies. Others spend hundreds of dollars on DVRs in order to skip a few commercials. But for small business owners who need to learn something, there's a reasonable solution in the form of Microsoft's new "60 second business insider" podcasts.

The United States Small Business Administration (SBA) announced today that it has upgraded its podcasts to offer additional resources to entrepreneurs. "Business owners can take advantage of this and other business resources from the SBA to help them more effectively manage their firms, including free online training courses and other business tools and resources," the Administration says. Business owners will find useful information and advice in these podcasts on topics such as:

It's funny that I was just talking about running contests earlier today, because now I have stumbled across the news that podcast Startup BizCast is running one in honor of Small Business Week (April 21st - 25th).
