Optimize The Google Content Network

Take Advantage...

You've bought in to the AdWords hype and decided to try and reach a broader audience for your business. Make Google's content network bring business to you.

Google earns its keep by placing ads alongside its search results, and on sites participating in its AdSense program. Those sites, the content network, could send some profitable traffic to a business through its advertising.

Plenty of other businesspeople feel the same way, making it important to try and take advantage of any edge you can get. Since Google, ideally, reaps bigger profits when you do as you spend more with them, it's in their interest to help you find an audience for those ads.

The search advertising company posted content network optimization tips to help out with this. Google suggested splitting up search and content campaigns in order to target different audiences, and using general keywords to boost an ad group without detracting from search performance.

Pricing and special offers could be clinchers that pull people to click on an ad. Google said they often see advertisers enjoy a better ROI from the content network when ads include product prices.
