Financial Terms Not Disclosed Online retail platform Zazzle has purchased GoodStorm, a company that focuses on eCommerce for social causes and non-profit organizations.
As part of the deal, GoodStorm will be part of Zazzle's efforts to assist social causes and non-profits, integrating with the company's current Zazzle Giving initiative. Zazzle will have access to GoodStorm's existing partners, including Amnesty International, the Craiglist Foundation and United for Peace.
Yobie Benjamin, founder of GoodStorm becomes senior vice president of business development and president of the Zazzle community, GoodStorm co-founder Andy Rappaport becomes an advisor to the Zazzle board. Financial terms of the deal were not released.
"The GoodStorm acquisition enables Zazzle to launch a true vertical dedicated to social causes and non-profit organizations. Their relationships and client roster brings an additional value-add to Zazzle's already impressive line-up of non-profit partners including the Humane Society, March of Dimes, Save the Children, and others," said James Heckman, chief strategy officer, Zazzle.
