A hearing entitled "Improving the SBA's Access to Capital Programs for Our Nation's Small Businesses" is scheduled to take place Wednesday March 5 in Washington D.C.
The hearing is being held by the House Committee on Small Business subcommittee on Finance and Tax.
The hearing is aimed at addressing "challenges faced by entrepreneurs in securing affordable financing through the SBA's access to capital programs."
It will feature testimonies from the SBA as well as from banking entities and other small business associations.
The next day on Thursday March 6, another hearing will take place in D.C. This one is called "Are New Procurement Methods Beneficial to Small Business Contractors?"
Testimonies at this hearing are expected to come from agency and industry representatives and to address "the impact of the government's increasing use of non-traditional procurement processes on small businesses".
Both hearings will take place at the Rayburn House Office Building.
