PayPal
PayPal is fairly easy to add to a site. As a person who used eBay in the early years and just recently tried them again, I was totally overwhelmed by the "fees". I had an eBay store until I realized that the fees from an item sold from the store were 12% plus 8% depending on the amount. By the time, my item had all the fees from listing to selling deducted from it, there was not much left. Needless to say I just closed the ebay store and I now put buttons for my artwork on my blog instead. I occasionally list an item on eBay. The only thing that bothers me is that eBay owns PayPal and how much longer will it be before they "fee" PayPal to death or start charging for things that are free.....like the buttons.
I also have started listing my items on etsy.com where fees are very reasonable. There are alternatives to eBay.
Discover a new way for customer to pay
Paypal is good, but not for everyone. What about people that don't have bank account or credit cards?I have a programming solutions for customer without a bank account or credit cards to make a secure purchase online when it was never possible before. Merchants from around the globe can now make a sale to people who could never
conveniently purchase from them before. In addition to the traditional online merchant selling digital online goods, services and membership programs. There is now a way for every person in the world with a website to become his own merchant. No special secure websites, shopping carts, bank accounts or other security software is required. You can simply insert a payment link on your website and be accepting payments from over 500 million consumers world wide today. With this you have more choices than paypal alone. You can add both payment choices

Good add-on
We added PayPal to our payment options about 3 years ago & it's been a plus for us. About 7% of total go with PayPal.
Use PayPal only? No, that's cheesy & unprofessional. If you're going to operate a business, you've got to have the proper shopping carts. Plus side...your money is there in your account, collecting interest if you like. Easier & faster to use than electronic checks. Down side...none really. Just another account to reconcile each month.
For those who don't want to use a credit card for any particular reason. www.parpools.com is happy to make it easier for anyone to pay for their purchase.
