Another Small Business Week Contest
Small Business Makeover...
On the heels of the announcement of StartUp Bizcast's Small Business Week-related contest, Sam's Club has announced it's own.
Along with SBTV.com and the National Federation of Independent Business, Sam's Club is offering a $100,000 Small Business Makeover.
This makeover includes Up to $25,000 in cash, merchandise, supplies and equipment from Sam's Club or samsclub.com, mentoring from SBTV.com experts, and a lifetime membership to the NFIB. The winner will also get a trip to to Washington D.C. for the NFIB's 2008 National Small Business Summit in June.
Sam's Club states:
Both existing Sam's Club Business Members and small business owners are encouraged to enter the contest and are invited to take the Sam's Club Invoice Challenge at any location nationwide during National Small Business Week from 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Invoice comparisons will be conducted on top core business items available at Sam's Club. Businesses that bring an invoice from other providers will be able to compare prices as well as the savings a Sam's Club Membership can provide. No purchase is necessary to enter or win and for a complete description of the prize package, entry information and official rules, visit sbtv.com.
"We are looking forward to Small Business Week and helping small business owners grow their operations by demonstrating how we can lower their costs on items they use or resell," said Catherine Corley, Vice President, Insights for Small Business, Sam's Club.
"While there will be one Small Business Makeover winner, we are confident we can help small business owners nationwide win by making their dollars go further, and improving their bottom line," added Corley.
Sam's club also took advantage of the marketing through contests concept we discussed last week by discussing the money business owners could save by being a Sam's Club member in their announcement of the contest.
National Small Business Week is April 21st - 25th.
