A two-day conference aimed at small business owners is coming up on April 21st, lasting for two days.
It's called Small Business Marketing Unleashed, and it is being put on by the people behind Search Engine Guide and Small Business Brief.
They promise that this will be very different than most marketing conferences. During this one, attendees will get hands on workshop time with the experts that are presenting (there are ten of them).
Stoney deGeyter talks a bit about it here, and points out that presentations will be more complete, because there is one presenter per session, so they won't have to leave things out in order to make time for other presenters. This leads to you getting more complete information.
Apparently day one will consist of the presentations and day two will consist of workshops where the experts will actually walk you through "the process of beginning to market your site".
It sounds like a very worthwhile event, particularly for the less experienced in marketing.
