Today, InfoUSA announced the results of a poll that it conducted among thousands of small business executives across the United States.
The poll, which small business owners might be interested in, asked "What are your hiring plans in the next 6 months?".
1,131 people responded and the results are as follows:
- 45.71% (517 respondents) said increase number of jobs
- 41.29% (467 respondents) said maintain current levels of employment
- 13% (147 respondents) said cut jobs
Given the current state of the economy, this poses an interesting question. We've said before that small businesses are still confident about their own businesses, but many are not implementing any growth strategies, so what are your hiring plans like?
