Internet Myths Revealed Part One

Don’t be afraid of the Web…

While the BigFoot myth continues to bring debate, the Internet myths that have plagued you with questions for so long, now have an answer.

Justin Kitch of Homestead.com wrote 11 myths that many small business owners are prone to believe. This article/video will cover the first 5, and we will bring you myths 6-11 later in the week.

At this point in time, most people will say that they cannot live without the Internet. Some people, like us here at SmallBusinessNewz, spend our entire day online. However, there are others who are still afraid of embracing the Internet.

One reason why people are hesitant about using the Web is because they expect it to be difficult. Yes, it can be challenging, but it doesn’t have to be. There are many excellent sources available that can walk you through the process. Kitch, being one source, has helped many entrepreneurs establish an active Web presence.

The majority of beginners struggle with the following myths:

  1. This internet thing is going to be a revolution.
  2. I don’t need a website.
  3. I’ll hire a professional for internet stuff.
  4. The Yellow Pages is all I need.
  5. My business is local.

Watch the SmallBusinessNewz video for a complete explanation of why these myths are false and how the Internet is vitally important to your business.

Keep watching SmallBusinessNewz for the truth exposed from myths 6-11.
