Since I've been talking about offline advertising tactics today, I'll follow up with this idea.

Extracurricular activity programs at schools (especially high schools) are always in need of funding.

Fundraisers are held all the time for all of the different high school sports, the yearbook, etc.

One popular way that these fundraisers work is by offering advertising to local businesses. Yearbooks almost always have ads in them, and programs at sporting events do too.

There are groups called booster clubs (usually made up mostly of parents) that organize fundraisers to raise money for new equipment, uniforms, travel expenses, etc.

This is an often-overlooked advertising opportunity to get your ad in front of anybody with kids, not to mention the kids themselves. There are plenty of high-school students out there looking to spend their money whether hard earned or not, depending on what your business offers, you may have part of your target market right there.

This is a kind of advertising you can feel really good about too, because instead of just fattening the pockets of some company, you are actually contributing to the good of the school (whether the school is actually getting the money or not). Businesses like you could be the difference between old raggedy basketball uniforms and ones that the kids can be proud to wear and feel good about every time they suit up for their next game.

Talk to parents. Talk to coaches. Talk to the school's Yearbook instructor. Do a little digging and see what you can find. Chances are they will be happy to sell you some advertising for the good of their program.
