Rebranding
I made 7 mistakes when I rebranded.
1. Ignoring current traffic base.
2. Doing three sites at one time instead of consecutively, so when a mistake was made, it was made through all three.
3. No 301 redirects, so I lost ranked pages.
4. Did not properly research new keywords.
5. Made changes as I was going on vacation and worked through vacation to correct problems.
6. Decided to ban scrapping sites and accidentally included some European search engines.
7. Emotionally attached to site and kept sabotaging my efforts to change it.
However, it made a great article when I pieced all the mistakes together and I'll never make these mistakes again.
