NFIB Endorses Heap Of Politicians

GOP wins in six states

It's that time of year again.  Turn on the television and - assuming the market isn't crashing and Russia hasn't invaded another country - all the news coverage centers on politics.  So with a sort of "when in Rome" attitude, here are some political endorsements made by the National Federation of Independent Business.

An important note: we're not saying that these people should (or shouldn't) get your vote.  Odds are good that, due to matters of geography, you won't even get the chance to weigh in on any of their races.  This is just a roundup of what one small business group decided.

Most recently, Kentuckian Anne Northup (R) got the NFIB's nod to keep a position.  Lisa Goeas, the NFIB's vice president of political matters, stated, "Anne Northup is the proven pro-small-business candidate in this race.  She was a key ally of small business throughout the 10 years she served in Congress for the 3rd District."

In North Carolina, Elizabeth Dole (R) was endorsed for reelection to the U.S. Senate.  Mike Castle (R) got the same sort of thumbs up in his race for reelection in Delaware's at-large Congressional District.

Three folks from Alabama come next: Republicans Jo Bonner, Robert Aderholt, and Spencer Bachus.  They're seeking reelection to the U.S. Congress in the first, fourth, and sixth districts, respectively.  And we'll wrap up with John Boozman (R) from Arkansas and Colorado's Marilyn Musgrave (R) and Doug Lamborn (R).
