Not a franchise but..
Thanks, Chris, for another great article. My business isn't a franchise but I am a woman business owner. My business is a safety and security web site. Not your typical women's business but I feel strongly about helping people stay safe. My "About Us" page tells just one of the reasons why. It's nice to know that women are being recognized for their small businesses!
Are They Truly Woman Owned
Every "woman owned" small business I know of is actually owned and run by a man. They are set up this way as a a way to get an advantage when selling to the government. The husband runs the company and the uninvolved stay at home wife owns it.
