The United States Small Business Administration (SBA) announced today that it has upgraded its podcasts to offer additional resources to entrepreneurs. "Business owners can take advantage of this and other business resources from the SBA to help them more effectively manage their firms, including free online training courses and other business tools and resources," the Administration says.
Business owners will find useful information and advice in these podcasts on topics such as:
- Marketing to the Federal Government
- Getting Your Small Business Ready for Tax Season
- Online Reporting of Employee Wages
- Is Entrepreneurship for You?
- Checklist for Starting a Business
The SBA says it will be adding new podcasts regularly on other topics like downshifting in a slowing economy, going green, and business plan development. There will also be programs for veterans and information to help entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses.
The SBA's podcasts can be found here, and are available via RSS feeds. Each podcast is less than ten minutes long and features expert interviews from government, industry, and business professionals.

SBA Has Decided To Help Business Owners
Hi Interesting article, I gues it's hard for me to fully understand how you guys are going in the U.S. but as a small business owner here in Australia I can tell you we are really starting to feel the pressure,
I think it's great that your SBA is taking some action and your new government has realized how important small business are to the economy It's just a shame that it has had to get to this point of economic despair.
I wish any new or existing small business the best of luck and it is like Napoleon Hill once pointed out in his book think and grow rich it's the can do attitude and the will to succeed that will change the current situation and taking action, not just sitting around and bemoaning how bad things are.
