Satisfied enough to make a return purchase?Customers are tough to please. In this economy however, businesses cannot afford to lose customers due to dissatisfaction. In other words, businesses must go the extra mile to make sure they are meeting their customer's needs.
So, what can you do to keep your customer's happy? You can start by being consistent. It is especially important in this economy to instill a sense of security and trust with customers. They need dependability and reliability. If you must make changes, let the customers know in advance to ensure a better relationship.
Secondly, meet customer requirements. The product or service you are providing should meet the customer's needs. In the delivery of the product offering, make the customer feel special.
Thirdly, meet staff requirements. The attitude of your employees is reflected in the delivery of the product or service. It is important to keep the staff happy, so they display a positive approach when dealing with customers.
If your business is an organization, make sure you are meeting organization requirements. These requirements usually include a mission statement, corporate structure, feedback and communications systems, human and technical resources, and demonstrated commitment.
Finally, a business needs to strive for excellence. Meeting basic requirements is acceptable, but if a business excels in meeting their customer's needs, it will consistently drive customers back.
What's your experience with keeping customers happy and getting them to return for more?

Many forget that the basis
Many forget that the basis of selling something is customer satisfaction. You may be selling the best product in the world, but if your customers are left feeling cold, there are plenty competitors out there they can patronize. Happy customers mean returning customers.
