Creating Ad Copy That Sticks

Customers won’t forget these ads!

It’s discouraging when your target market doesn’t seem to be responding to your advertising campaign. You’ve purchased mailing lists geared toward your demographic for your email marketing efforts. You’ve also made sure your ads run around relevant TV and radio shows. What could the problem be?

Could the issue lie in the ad copy itself? The above tactics do work, but the most effective way to reach customers is through targeted ad copy. You can reach your target market any time and anywhere if your ad copy is effective.

The above video explains 4 tips for creating ad copy that “sticks” with potential customers. Your ad copy should:

  1. Define your target
  2. Gain attention of target
  3. Be honest
  4. Be believable

You have to let your audience know whom you are specifically targeting, pull their attention away from all the other advertising media forms, be direct with them, and also make sense all at the same time. If you implement these steps, you should see positive results in your advertising campaign.

Do you feel like you’re reaching your target market to its full potential? Is your ad copy targeted? Have you seen positive results to targeted ad copy?

Sounds like the ads needs to

Sounds like the ads needs to be tracked and tweaked to get a response. Thats the only way to know if your'e getting business. So whether you're looking for Disney Hideaway vacation or getting some energy efficient windows from West Coast Vinyl, you gotta track those ads that compelling to their customer.

Writing Targeted Ad Copy

Take a hint from some of the best copywriters; study the magazine covers your potential customer reads. Example? You sell dating related products or services. The latest Cosmopolitan cover might say, "7 Secrets to Pleasing Your Man." So... you offer a free eBook entitled "7 Secrets to Finding Your Soul Mate."

Or, perhaps you organize gold parties. Go to Magazines.com and review the covers. Today, the Money Magazine cover says, "How to Profit in the New Economy. So, for your gold party web site, you offer a free eBook entitled "How to Profit In the New Gold Party Rush."

Write the eBook or outsource it. Focus your ad copy on "scratching this itch" for your customer. Offer "7 Secrets to Finding Your Soul Mate" or "How to Profit In the New Gold Party Rush"as a free, immediate downloadable eBook via an autoresponder to your customer in return for their email address.

They're now in your "sales funnel" and you can deveop a relationship with them leading to future, ongoing sales.

THIS WORKS!
