Upcoming Webcast Should Answer Tax Questions

IRS promotes program about ARRA credits, deductions, and incentives

Every so often, an IRS representative has reached out to SmallBusinessNewz, supplying helpful notices about upcoming events.  Yesterday, we got another email, this time concerning an upcoming webcast of a program called Tax Talk Today.

"[V]iewers will have the opportunity to learn about provisions of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009," the representative wrote.  "ARRA’s tax provisions have wide application for small business people and the self-employed.  I am sure that your readers could benefit by tuning in."

Indeed, IRS professionals and industry experts should discuss credits, deductions, and incentives, and those count as some pretty authoritative figures and interesting topics.

So if you want to watch the webcast, know that Tax Talk Today will take place from 2 PM to 3 PM (Virginia time) on Tuesday, October 6th.  It’ll be free, which is another big draw, and pretty much every computer should be able to handle the transmission as long as it’s equipped with Windows Media Player or Real Player.

This should be a great way to get accurate ARRA-related tax info in a timely fashion.  A transcript should become available at some point if you can’t watch the webcast, too.

What do you think? Respond.
