Verizon Small Biz Center To Offer Twitter Webinar

Small business owners with an interest in Twitter and a less-than-packed schedule might want to consider spending some time in front of their computers this Wednesday.  The Verizon Small Business Center intends to hold a free webinar regarding Twitter and lead generation.

The title of the webinar is "Insanely Useful Ways to Use Twitter to Generate Leads."  It’ll start on Wednesday, January 12th at 1 PM ET, and Jon Jantsch, the author of "Duct Tape Marketing – The World’s Most Practical Small Business Marketing Guide," will be the primary speaker.

One tip if you think you might tune in: register at least one hour before the start of the webinar in order to receive an invitation.

As for some additional info, an official Verizon statement announced, "Jantsch will discuss how businesses can utilize Twitter to mine for new business and also provide tips to do advanced searches on Twitter to narrowly target leads. . . .  Jantsch will explain how leads can be found by searching for occupation, bio, location and industry.  Additionally, Jantsch will offer tips to ‘eavesdrop’ on the competition."

Then a Q&A session will follow.
