YouTube Advertising Course Scheduled

YouTube Specialist will discuss ways to raise your profile

Commercials that air during TV shows unquestionably get in the viewer’s way; they’re all that stands between the viewer and the next segment of his or her program.  YouTube ads are a little more likable, though, considering the average YouTube user’s kind of browsing, and Google intends to teach people more about them soon.

On Wednesday, from 7 AM to 8 AM PST (or 3 PM to 4 PM GMT if you live in what might be considered the target time zone), a YouTube specialist will hold an online course.  It’ll be possible to tune in at no cost, and the name of the thing’s "YouTube Opportunities."

A post on the Inside AdWords blog explained today, "If you’re interested in creating a stronger online brand presence or drawing a high volume of traffic to your site, YouTube can help you accomplish both by giving you access to the world’s largest online video-streaming and -sharing community. YouTube can further enhance your current online advertising campaigns with millions of ad impressions and video ad streaming opportunities so that you can create the high-profile online presence that your website needs."

Then the post continued, "There are now a number of ways in which you can raise your profile as an advertiser using YouTube. . . .  [Y]ou’ll learn about the different methods of targeting YouTube and how to make the most out of any existing presence you may already have on YouTube."

This could be worth a look for small business owners who aren’t advertising on YouTube.  And small business owners who are should definitely tune in to make sure they’re getting the most for their money.

The course will be available through the AdWords Online Classroom.

  1. You Tube marketing is something I’m very interested in learning more about. Is there a tape of this webinar anywhere, perhaps on YouTube? I would be interested in reviewing it for my fantasy baseball site.
