ZoomInfo Launches Business Email Contact Tool

New tool shares business contacts

 ZoomInfo a business information provider has launched a new plug-in that finds active business contacts in users’ email and automatically uploads the information to the ZoomInfo B2B directory.

Salespeople, small business owners, jobseekers and others who install the plug-in receive free, ongoing access to the entire ZoomInfo Database of millions of B2B profiles.

The company said that during a market test of its new ZoomInfo Community Edition , more than 25,000 people installed the email plug-in, contributing approximately one million new contacts to ZoomInfo.

ZoomInfo does not require users to manually upload contacts, nor is access “metered” based on the number of contacts contributed. As long as the ZoomInfo Contact Contributor plug-in is active, members get access to detailed, just-verified profiles of more than 50 million employees and five million businesses, plus tools for searching and targeting.

“Only our technology innovations are capable of keeping up with the thousands of daily changes across businesses that quickly render B2B contact data obsolete,”said Sam Zales, president of ZoomInfo.

“Businesses rely on accurate contact information to succeed and our new program represents a leap toward our mission of mapping the entire business landscape in real time.”

ZoomInfo uses a verification processes for all newly contributed data, including alerting businesspeople before publishing their online profiles and providing tools that allow everyone to enhance and control their profiles.
